Character Building

When a baby falls over from learning to walk, (s)he:

a) wails and cries and asks for attention
b) lies there stunned and awaits

Something totally unrelated:
My dog think he's human. He wakes me up in the middle of the night and walks back to his bed, lies down. I walk away. He comes back to wake up, walks back to his bed. i look at him in his bed all shriveled up. Does this dog want me to put the blanket on him? I put some blankets on him and he uncurls. I go back to bed and don't hear from him again during the night.
